        Verdict

        War Whisper remains high enough in the weights but was only beaten half-a-length at Musselburgh last time so looks the pick of the two Paul Midgley runners. QUEEN OF DESIRE was sent to Italy for a Listed race after winning twice at Bath. She makes her handicap debut today and could get back on track given there should be more to come. Arzaak has been below par since winning at Brighton and Lingfield early in the summer but Wiff Waff, Equimou and Kodiac Express are all previous course and distance winners so can’t be ignored.
