      Verdict

      An interesting and competitive all-Newmarket handicap with many yards fielding progressive performers. Wiqaaya looks up against it off topweight and ELECTRA STAR looks a likelier option after scoring nicely in a Windsor maiden. She looks a definite improver and is preferred to Set Me Free, whose effortless success in an egg-and-spoon maiden makes him impossible to assess. However, he's just the sort Luca Cumani excels with and is almost certainly better than he's shown to date. Arabian Heights shoulders a penalty for a workmanlike polytrack success and probably needs to come on again, whilst Switchback showed much more zip last time and is included in calculations as the Stoute yard swings into better form.
