In depth
Verdict
Key Virtue is taken to open his account he has ran in some hot races of late and his latest seventh behind the highly regarded Balmy should be good enough to win this. War Valor has had many chances but he was a good second behind Cyclone Connie last time out at Lingfield and the form has been franked so again he should go well, Summer Recluse was third in the same contest and has only had two runs so he is open to more improvement and it would be no surprise if he reversed the placing. Volcanic was very weak in the market on his debut and ran accordingly he is sure to have come on for the experience but he looked as if he would make a better three year old. Diaphanous was second in a maiden handicap last time out but he will have to improve significantly again to take this more competitive affair. Najeebon will have to settle better than he did last time if he is to take a hand in the finish. The remainder need to improve significantly on what they have shown to take a hand in proceedings.
