Cross The Tracks was a surprise debut winner over the course and distance before finding Group 3 company way beyond him at Newmarket. Pen Portrait made a promising debut at Thirsk then defied trouble in-running to score over 6f at Wolverhampton where he stayed on well. Moswaat was unfancied at Kempton but was beaten less than two lengths and is certain to improve but all eyes here will be on BARONE, an €87,000 yearling who went for a mammoth 340,000gns at the Craven Breeze-up in May so must have been mightily impressive.
