      Verdict

KINSHASA (NAP) had been progressing well with wins at Kempton and Salisbury in June but came unstuck behind Battersea in a tougher race at Ascot last time. Luca Cumani's colt still finished ahead of Trip To Paris on that occasion and is also preferred to Alex Vino in this. The latter has notched up a couple of wins over 1m2f but was well beaten over today's longer trip at Pontefract in between. Both Notarised and Latin Charm have a bit to prove in this higher grade.
