From a short list made up of Rose of Coma, Shared Moment and KIRKSON it is the last mention who is put forward to score. The Peter Chapple-Hyam trained gelding showed dramatically improved form in the first-time blinkers last time out and was clearly helped by the drop in grade. It remains to be seen whether the headgear has the same effect here but on evidence of his last effort victory here looks to be in the offing. Rose of Come seems to have found here level and ran a fair race at Brighton when last seen. The three-year-old filly looks capable at this trip but the selection may prove too hard to beat here. Shared Moment is a half-sister to Sir Boss and looks a decent sort after an impressive debut race last time. She gave herself a bit to do by missing the break but she managed to get herself into a challenging position, a lack of racecourse experience did show, but she should have come on for the race and a finish in the minors here isn't beyond her. Gay Kelleway's Why Nee Amy should fare well here and is expected to be putting pressure on the front three but for us Kirkson looks best.
