Verdict

Grandfather Tom faded close home last week at Windsor but is the likely pace angle in this and visored for the first time. Outrage is also a course and distance winner and starting to look well treated while Spirited Guest got back to winning ways over 6f here last month. COLONEL FRANK could have done without a 2lb rise for finishing second at Newmarket last month but he’s impervious to the state of the going and generally in better form than most of these so gets the nod.
