Warden Complex, Pagan Prince and Brazilian Terrace are the three against the field here and we will plump for the first named. James Fanshawe's gelding returned from a well earned break to chase home Idle Power in a seven furlong event on the all-weather last week. He is sure to improve on that effort and with stamina on his dams side, the extra furlong shouldn't pose any problems. Brazilian Terrace ran no sort of race at Windsor last time but had previously finished runner up in a competitive event at Bath and if putting her best foot forward today should figure in the finish. Pagan Prince, a recent winner at Windsor should prove best of the others, but Warden Complex looks primed for victory and is given the nod.
