BIRCH GROVE, lightly-raced for a four-year-old, could well have more to offer. He's done most of his racing on artificial surfaces but his debut run was a promising effort back in 2017 on soft ground in a decent Newbury novice so hopefully conditions will not be an issue. Dylan Hogan is looking good value for his claim and the Galileo filly can give weight away all round. Lilypad is interesting in that she's lightly-raced but she returns from a break. Velvet Vision has shaped well in fair handicaps this term and should be on the premises if handling her first experience of forecast soft ground.
