Porfin has just the one win on Turf in 16 attempts while Tomshalfbrother has proved best on the all-weather so far. The latter comment also applies to LILKIAN but it’s been a long time since he last raced on this surface and competing off a 12lb lower mark than his all-weather rating, a chance is taken on Darryll Holland’s charge. Areille slips further down the weights and Andromedas Kingdom may improve on her second start for Mick Appleby’s yard.
