A poor affair here with little in the way of good recent form to go on but a selection must be made and it is HOLYROOD we turn to who should pip Time Machine and Calling Victory to the post. The selection has not progressed as expected since running fourth in a hot maiden on his debut. However, he is expected to improve significantly now stepped up to middle-distances and looks capable of building on his last performance where he just scraped into the minors. He will appreciate the draw here and the going should suit. Time Machine makes his career debut today. The three-year-old comes from of the in-form John Gosden yard and this is a perfect opportunity for the gelding to make the frame at least on his debut. Calling Victory shaped well on her debut in February and looked the one to beat in an ordinary maiden last time out but she did not really impress with the way she ran but she has the ability to pick up a similar event and the move turf may be of benefit to the filly. Market referral is advised for the rest so for our selection we return to Holyrood.
