Volcano Bay is the only course and distance winner here but that was on fast ground and she's been well beaten when facing testing conditions. Divine Consent ran his best race to date on Tapeta at Wolverhampton last time but BAD RABBIT showed his liking for soft ground when producing a much improved display in a Class 5 handicap at Redcar and can go one better. Son Of Red has only run on fast ground or the all-weather while Critique has only run once on heavy going and finished last. Whitehaven scored over this trip on good to soft at Lingfield before finding a 6lb rise and 1m4f beyond him at Kempton.
