Mark Johnston won the inaugural running a year ago and Katebird will be fancied to repeat the process though her recent easy victory at Beverley was at Class 6 level and she's 6lb higher. Poppy Time was also beaten at that lowly level here in May and is still a maiden but Marilyn, a 7f winner here last summer, drops down in class after a couple of moderate efforts this campaign. Three Duchesses has only won on Tapeta and finished last of four at Doncaster last month so the vote goes to MILLIE'S KISS (NAP). Phil McBride's filly, a winner on Polytrack at Lingfield in March, was staying on strongly over slightly shorter in a better class handicap here last week and this looks a good opportunity. Navajo Thunder will be better for her return to action at Pontefract though may need a stiffer test.
