KHAAN appeals as still being well treated after impressing with his finishing effort to score emphatically at Southwell last month. With little mileage on the clock for one of his age, he could well have something in hand of the handicapper from his current mark and confirmed his ability to handle Turf as well as Fibresand when a solid third here on his penultimate start. Abushamah has been nursed nicely back to form over the past year or so and has every chance on the evidence of recent consistent efforts with conditions to suit, whilst many others have a claim in an open race, with the veteran Lunar Deity, Ascot Week and King Oswald all making some appeal.
