Just an average contest with the top weight Arctic Blue having a handicap-mark of just 67 and the vote goes to Acceleration ahead of Rosewings and Cantrip. Rosewings showed improvement for the step up to this trip at Musselburgh and she is one to keep on the right side of, while Cantrip is only 4lbs higher than when getting off the mark at Lingfield. If she stays this far, she is also one to keep an eye on. However, this looks likely to go to Acceleration, who will be bidding to recoup Redcar losses. He was sent off a ridiculous 10/11 shot, for a 16 runner maiden handicap that day, but having been absent for seven months, he was still a little ring-rusty. He will be much sharper here and can reward his backers. Rejess has shown a little ability and if staying this longer trip, could run into a place at a decent price.
