In depth

Verdict

New Jazz has performed well enough in handicaps the last twice to suggest a small maiden is certainly within her compass. She has a solid claim for a yard which enjoyed a magical weekend and also receives 5lb from the colts. Going Places appeals as the surefire improver after a most pleasing debut in a Newmarket maiden last month and the son of Frankel is well respected. MODEL GUEST (NAP) sets a strong standard though on the back of an excellent effort when a close fifth of 27 in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot and although that form does not always translate back to maiden company, another performance at that level really ought to suffice here.
