      Verdict

      Marilyn rattled up a hat-trick in handicap company, including two races here, before contesting a Listed event at Pontefract but she looks weighted to the hilt now off a mark of 85. Beauty Filly has been favourite for all four of her career starts but has only won once, though an opening mark of 82 could be lenient. Hunni has come up against useful fillies the last twice and should be winning again soon while the older mare Bint Dandy likes this track. James Fanshawe has had a quiet season but had a winner earlier this week and the yard may be emerging from the doldrums. FONDEST has something to find on the form book but she’s a well-bred filly open to plenty of improvement and the booking of William Buick suggests she’ll be ready for her first run since scoring on her reappearance in April.
