      Verdict

LONGSIDE (NAP) is not going to get a better chance to break his duck but is likely to be a short price. Second at Brighton and Doncaster so far this season, James Eustace's gelding has been placed six times in total and Thomas Brown's claim takes care of a small rise in the weights. Galuppi could be the one for forecast-backers as he did win over hurdles at Fakenham in November, though may find this on the short side. The others have little to recommend them.
