      Verdict

      Lynngale made all at Bath two weeks ago but has an 8lb higher mark to contend with here. Harboured is blinkered for the first time having disappointed at Redcar while Super Cookie remains out of sorts but Nifty Kier won a similar race here last month before running poorly on the all-weather and Hot Mustard is also a course winner, though remains high enough in the weights. Christine Dunnett's runners in low-grade handicaps here are always worth a second look and PERSEVERENT PETE is no exception. His latest second at Lingfield was a big improvement and a repeat of that effort may well suffice.
