Swendab won this last year and Tom Sawyer the year before but both enter the fray with a poor recent run on the track behind them. Most of Cardinal's victories have come on ground with plenty of give or Polytrack so he could do with some rain and stablemate Indian Tinker has been getting beaten regularly in lower class events. Vodka Chaser has only won once, on this track in June, but hasn't been beaten far in subsequent races and should get into the action. AGERZAM has mainly raced on Polytrack where he's collected two victories and potential punters would need to forgive a poor recent run at Salisbury but he's competed well at a higher level than this and is taken to break his duck on Turf.
