Layline did win off a higher mark at Ffos Las last year but does most of his running on the all-weather nowadays. CORN MAIDEN won over course and distance last month but then turned in a shocker over a longer trip at Newmarket. That run was too bad to be true and Lydia Pearce's mare can make amends in this under an experienced apprentice. Sawwala is less exposed than her rivals but none of the others have shown enough lately to suggest they'll be winning soon.
