A competitive affair in which a few are well treated on past form. Realize races off a much higher mark on the all-weather but has won just one of his 16 starts on Turf. Firmdecisions’ last victory on this surface came off a pound higher mark and he’s been going well on Polytrack this year. Gothic Empire will have benefited from a spin at Lingfield but shot up the weights last year. Glory Awaits was second to Dawn Approach in the 2000 Guineas in 2013 and later won a Group 2 but hasn’t got his head in front since 2014. Stablemate HORSTED KEYNES’ last win came over this track and trip and he’s only a pound higher. He’s been thereabouts off similar marks on the all-weather lately and deserves a change of luck.
