The four-year-old COVERHAM is creeping up the weights but he’s been in excellent form lately and already has a course and distance victory to his name this season. There are plenty of less-exposed three-year-olds lying in wait, however, including Semper Augustus who came with a withering run to score at Newbury and is on the upgrade. Run This Way still has something to prove over this trip but wind surgery should have helped Sun Festival and Piselli Molli was an easy winner over track and trip before finishing third at Newmarket. Graystone also won here on his penultimate start and Frantoio chased home an in-form rival here last month with a subsequent winner back in fourth.
