Verdict

A tricky opener, thought it's difficult to make a case for Westerly Breeze. HORACE HAZEL only won a four-runner race here in June and made mistakes. But chasing should be his game and the handicapper has only been able to raise him a couple of pounds. Adam du Breteau also got off the mark over fences here last month but has been raised a massive 15lb while recent Stratford scorers Play The Ace and Shady Glen probably don't have the scope of some of their rivals. Pawn Star makes his chasing bow after a break.
