Verdict

Cardano, lightly raced over timber, won on the Flat at Epsom recently so goes on the shortlist but EMANATE is fancied to complete a course and distance hat-trick with Thomasina Eyston taking off 8lb again. Getaway Tom has been edging up the weights without winning but a case can be made for last month’s Stratford winner Up For Appeal and Swift Tuttle scrambled home at Bangor earlier this month. Global Famenglory has been frustrating to follow, however, while Walkinthewoods is returning from a break.
