It took Peggies Venture eight attempts to get off the mark over timber and she has already been beaten three times in handicaps, though may have improved for a recent wind operation. Really Super is still awaiting a first victory over hurdles but has only had four runs and been second twice. Cockley Beck has been running well over further and will probably be staying on in the closing stages while Milan Of Crystal has a good strike-rate and is seeking a third course win. DAVID’S PHOEBE has been very consistent this year and her only win so far came over 2m here in November. There is a slight doubt over this longer trip but she should run her race again.
