Verdict

Dalkingstown won off this mark over fences here 10 days ago so can’t be ignored. Thunderstruck’s run at Fontwell can be forgiven as he didn’t handle the rain-softened ground. He would have every chance on previous efforts while Rookie Trainer won over track and trip last month and a 5lb rise is probably fair. ITACARE (NAP) wasn’t beaten far off this mark in a slightly better race at Ffos Las earlier this month. He throws in the odd bad run but would just about win this if on his best behaviour and is certainly more consistent than Starsky and Get The Appeal.
