Silver Man is having a confidence-booster after falling heavily over fences at Doncaster in December. Ted's Lad was third in a maiden hurdle at Warwick in April but it speaks volumes that Wayne Hutchinson prefers Minella Treasure, who makes his debut under Rules after a 15-month lay-off since a couple of runs in points. We'll concentrate on the three previous winners with BUCKSKIN BOULTA, already successful at Uttoxeter and Hexham this year, preferred to Preseli Rock, who was proving hard to win with prior to scoring with the proverbial ton in hand over this trip at Uttoxeter. River Of Intrigue won over 2m4f here last time but his ability to stay this far has to be taken on trust.
