Despite only beating one home, CONNECTIVITY was far from disgraced on his chasing debut here in June behind Ambion Wood. He had a much higher rating over hurdles than Abbey Wood and, with McCoy taking over the reins and a pair of blinkers to help him concentrate, Richard Newland's nine-year-old can open his account over the larger obstacles today. Abbey Wood will be interesting when given a thorough test of stamina while Spanish Optimist has few miles on the clock, though the ex-pointer may need this. Neither Finch Flyer nor What An Oscar are likely to figure unless something happens to the others.
