Verdict
The Macon Lugnatic dug deeply to win a battle with Apache Creek at Ffos Las and enjoys a 3-9 strike rate over hurdles. This looks tougher though and preference is for the lightly-raced GOLD LINK. Emma Lavelle's Rail Link gelding has only had four starts over hurdles and has clearly improved since wind surgery, notably when a good second to the highly promising Restandbethankful at Market Rasen. He looks on a fair mark for this handicap bow and should continue to progress. High Change looked to score with a little in hand over course and distance recently and is shortlisted in this follow-up attempt for the Newland team.
