Verdict
SMILING JESSICA is an interesting runner in this. She won at Musselburgh last season and was also placed at Southwell and Doncaster. The mare probably needed her first run for Gavin Cromwell in a hurdle at Downpatrick and most of her rivals in this are firmly in the veteran stage now. What A Laugh beat King Spirit at Stratford 11 days ago but the runner-up is 7lb better off here because of a penalty. Cruising Bye is hard to win with while this is probably a bit far for Spock but Ready Token can’t get much lower in the weights and Royale Django could also be competitive with a clear round.
