Verdict

Dresden ran well for a long way on his reappearance at Stratford. Purple 'n Gold made a winning start to his chase career over course and distance last month and was then made favourite for a handicap at Kelso. But he never threatened when only third that day and looks high enough in the weights. Benefit Cut is starting to look well treated, however, and Village Vic should be winning again soon but MISS TENACIOUS certainly wasn't scoring out of turn here at the start of the month, when Fairyinthewind and Noche De Reyes were behind. She has the beating of Strongly Suggested on past form on this track and can win again under regular partner Harry Cobden.
