A wide open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Wilfred, Rifleman, Joshua's Bay and Mini Dare and the confident vote is given to Wilfred. The selection was a good second in a hotter race behind Moon Catcher last time out and although he has risen slightly in the weights he could still be ahead of the handicapper and under conditions that suit he is taken to score. Rifleman rates the main danger as he was just ran out of it close home when second behind Nite Fox. The drop in trip looks to be in his favour and he will not be far away. Joshua's Bay has dropped to a handy mark and ran as if about to return to form when third behind Time Marches On so he should be noted in the market. and Mini Dare is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best and all his best form is on softer ground so he is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder Assumetheposition is from a shrewd yard and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Wilfred.
