Doncesar De Pretot is the senior runner in this and was last seen over fences. Presentandcounting has won his last two over timber but has won more races over the larger obstacles. Give Me A Moment was second to Light N Strike over fences at Stratford in May but is 8lb better off, though isn’t guaranteed to confirm recent form over hurdles at that track with Ike Sport. Lunar Shadow may have been unbeaten over timber had he not fallen at the last at Stratford in June but OCEANLINE clearly appreciated the step up to 2m4f here in July so gets the nod ahead of Pop The Champagne, who is chasing a five-timer, and the hat-trick seeking San Giovanni, who easily beat the subsequent Uttoxeter winner Biowavego here in June.
