Walden Prince is improving but this is a significant step up in class for David Bridgwater's eight-year-old. The consistent MISS TENACIOUS was only beaten a head by Surf And Turf over track and trip in June and is 2lb better off. She had My Brother Sylvest and Another Flutter behind at Stratford last time so is possibly the one to beat, though she was also entered to run at Newton Abbot yesterday. Ulis De Vassy fell at the first at Southwell last time but dropping back to 2m is probably in his favour and he may be the one to cash in should Ron Hodges' mare not turn up.
