Verdict

Dubh Eile readily outpaced stayer The Road ahead over this trip at Aintree and is on an upward curve. Go Odee Go has been much improved since tackling handicaps while Aficionado was just touched off over course and distance last time. Ossie's Dancer arrives off the back of a Plumpton win but Laudatory is best over a sharp 2m and doesn't appear to have much going for him here. BALLYGLASHEEN (NAP) ran a blinder in the Swinton Hurdle last month, a race he'd won 12 months previously. He was making up ground hand-over-fist in the closing stages and has run well on the Flat since so must go close if staying the extra half-mile. Champion Court is much better over fences.
