Brother Tedd is in the veteran stage now and not the force of old. Generation Gap has more to do than when successful at Exeter five weeks ago but Ludlow scorer Rock On Rocco should go well and it would be no surprise to see the potentially well-treated Rose Sea Has in the firing-line following a break. HAZZAAR is built to jump fences and already looks a better chaser than hurdler. He won more easily than the official margin suggests at Warwick and should cope with a 4lb rise. Do Wanna Know has run much better the last twice and could be a danger with a clear round.

Rose Sea Has (FR) 10-1 (11-8) Prominent, not fluent 2nd, hit next, led after 5th, bad mistake last (usual 3 out), soon headed, weakened bypassing last, 6th of 7, 31 3/4l behind Monsieur Co (11-2) at Kelso 2m 1f hcp (3) sft in Dec.
Do Wanna Know (IRE) 5-1 (11-9) Contested lead, headed but remained prominent after 5th, pushed along and briefly lost 2nd before last, battled back and reclaimed position up the run-in, closed on leader towards finish, 2nd of 7, 1 1/4l behind Don't Ask (11-2) at Southwell 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in May.
