Verdict

EDISON KENT was probably ridden a little too conservatively last time out but his rider now knows what to expect and improvement appears plausible. Halifax has made hay during the summer and the assessor has not gone overboard with a 4lb penalty for his recent victory at Bangor. Hungry Hill is turned out quickly having won readily five days ago and the six-year-old would have strong claims of defying a penalty if arriving in the same heart today while Coal Fire needs to prove he can show his form on left handed tracks having previously obliged around Market Rasen.
