Hear My Song is a half-brother to Cork National winner Mattock Ranger and doesn't look badly treated on his debut over fences. Lightly-raced, he is one for the future but may just need this. Cold Harbour, Baily Storm and Chapolimoss all failed to complete last time but none of that trio can be ignored, while Itzaliche and Gem Mill have rarely finished out of the frame lately. RIFLEMAN will be a lot happier now back over fences, however, and has an enviable track record. A recent spin over hurdles should have blown away a few cobwebs and he can return to winning ways today.
