Verdict

Magheral Express landed a point-to-point at Tattersalls Farm last May and was purchased for £50,000 at the Newbury Sales in November. Ryde By Knight was easily brushed aside at Kempton in March but should have come on though this could go to the newcomer ALL FORCE MAJEURE. David Pipe's French-bred is by the top-class stallion Dom Alco - the sire of Silviniaco Conti, Al Ferof and Grands Crus among others - and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a successful start. The filly Altesse De Guye is also by that prolific stallion but her pedigree suggests she'll do better when sent over fences.
