Apart from a slight scare jumping the last, KINGS RYDE (NAP) never looked in danger of defeat on his hurdles bow at Southwell. He looks a nice staying prospect and should have few problems with this longer trip or a 7lb penalty. Mon Palois is also penalised after winning at Ffos Las in May and doesn’t have the same scope as the selection while One Forty Seven has proved inconsistent so far and hasn’t raced since November last year.
