Hunting Percival was engaged in the 4.25 Newton Abbot yesterday. Hardy Boy has been chasing with limited success and is 10lb higher than when winning over hurdles. Pottlerath has also been racing over the larger obstacles but he’s won three times over timber and Nickelsonthedime arrives in good form. Something may have been amiss when Hungry Hill finished well behind KARAVOMYLOS over course and distance three weeks ago but it’s difficult to see him reversing the form with Peter Bowen’s progressive four-year-old on only 4lb better terms.
