Verdict

Berry De Carjac was entered at Newton Abbot yesterday but comes here instead. He’s done well for Grace Harris and Bryony Frost takes off 5lb. Hallings Comet has been in good form around here this summer but is creeping up the weights again. CAPTAIN MORLEY, a 90-plus rated performer on the Flat, has been quite highly tried and may do better now going handicapping so gets the nod as Prussian Eagle is probably in the handicapper’s grip. Solstalla was successful on this card 12 months ago but has never won a handicap and is one-paced but Itshard To No will have benefited from his run at Cartmel and is back on a winning mark. Hollywood Ken looks the pick of the remainder.
