In depth

Verdict

Trappy stuff with the top four all capable of taking a hand with just 4lb between the quartet on official ratings. The Disengager and Lamboro Lad are weighted to dead heat on recent running when the former prevailed by a couple of lengths and choosing between the pair isn't easy. Minella Stars is admirably consistent but continues to find one too good although he is expected to go close here. All of which leaves the in-form AMUSE ME, despite him being 18lb higher than when landing the first leg of his recent hat-trick. However, he keeps getting the job done with the minimum of fuss under the champion jockey and is well up to making it four on the bounce.
