Sunrise Ruby sets a decent standard among those with hurdling experience having already placed twice at Newbury. It will take a good performance by one of the jumping newcomers to lower her colours but Hotter Than Hell is particularly interesting on her bumper form and she represents last year’s winning stable. Easter Gold and Deja Vue are others worth a market check but the latter’s stablemate LILY THE PINK is preferred. Already successful in a point-to-point and a bumper, heavy going was probably to blame when she failed to justify favouritism at Fontwell in March and she looks tailor-made for hurdles.
