Verdict

Another small field goes to post for this handicap chase but all would have claims on their best form. Take The Stand won well last time out when defeating Tara Brogan despite making a bad mistake early on in that contest. Flying Instructor was well behind in that contest and although he is much better off at the weights with Take The Stand he re he will still find it hard to reverse placings with that rival. Maidstone Monument was a fair second behind Alakdar last time out but he ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him their and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Simber Hill should also go well but his best efforts of later have come with more cut in the ground so by processes of elimination the narrow vote goes to Take The Stand.
