Just ten runners compete in this fascinating event but it is hard to choose between them, however we expect a big run from Apadi and Manoram, but the vote goes to Green Gamble. The selection was put in his place by Lucky Pete last time at Plumpton, but had previously jumped superbly to beat Vulcan Lane at Huntingdon. He still looks on a fair mark and looks the one to beat. Manoram looked a tired horse when third to Colliers Court last time out. He has since had a nice holiday and he has strong claims on his victory over Ardishir on his previous outing. Apadi is the current form horse having easily beaten Amptina her last time, he will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Saby is another in with a shout on his best form, but Green Gamble looks the pick of the weights today and just edges the decision.
