Verdict

Chris Ward steered Jayo Time to an easy win at Uttoxeter last month but he's always been better over longer trips than this and can be less than enthusiastic on occasions. At the likely odds, Richard Newland's charge may be worth opposing with REGAL ONE. He may handle this going better than most and his latest fifth at Newton Abbot wasn't a bad effort in context. Short Takes looks out of sorts and would have preferred softer ground and Carrowbeg isn't getting any better.
