In depth

Verdict

If Jackie's Baby can break well then she may take some pegging back on a mark nearly 30lb lower than her highest winning mark. Prominent until weakening close home last time out at this track she has dropped 5lbs and is the selection to run a big race from stall 1. Howards Hero showed great determination to win last time out and if reproducing that effort off only a 2lb higher mark should go close. Henry Tun is generally consistent at this track and over this distance and has won off a similar mark to this in the past. With question marks about most the rest he should be in the firing line. Beverley Macca was only denied last time after weakening close home but if beating the selection for the lead could get things her own way close home with no real fast finishers in the field.
