A poor maiden here but something has to win and the principals look to be Bold Tiger, Exexel and Somoya and the vote is given to the debutante Exexel. The selection is a well bred filly by Dansili and hails from a yard that can ready a newcomer. This is a desperate affair and from a good draw she is taken to make a winning debut. Bold Tiger rates the main danger on his best form but he has not progressed as expected and he may be vulnerable to a less-exposed type so he is passed over on this occasion. Somoya ran better than her finishing position would suggest on her debut and is sure to improve so should be noted in the market. Of the remainder, Kirkby's Belle is another that has shown a modicum of ability in two runs to date and is another with place claims but she may be seen to better effect in handicaps and for the winner we return to Exexel.
